The city of Indy kicked off its 2022 (literally) by hosting the College Football Playoff National Championship, welcoming 100,000 fans. And there will be plenty of reasons to celebrate in July as ACCE hosts its 2022 convention in Circle City.
We’re back in person.
While we remained connected during the pandemic, hosting hundreds of calls and webinars, plus two summits, it will be exciting to be able to gather the chamber industry back together in person. We’re planning plenty of network opportunities, great sessions and more to reenergize chamber professionals.
Indy has a track record of hosting safe events.
According to Visit Indy, the city hosted 55,000 attendees for the National FFA Convention & Expo in October 2021. Another 60,000 people attended the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in December. And we can’t forget about those 100,000 football fans who enjoyed the last game of the college football season this January. Since July 2020, Indy has hosted more than 200 live conventions with more than 700,000 attendees and events like NCAA March Madness and the Indy 500.

It made Time Magazine’s list of the World’s Greatest Places. The city was a best place to travel in 2021 according to both Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure. Indy is also a Top 5 Beer City, according to USA Today, whose readers also chose Indy as the No. 1 convention city in the United States.
#ACCE22 is under one roof.
This year, you’ll be able to wake up in your hotel and you’ll already be in the same building as the convention. All educational content will be hosted at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, so it will be an easy commute if you book a hotel room early. Plus, the hotel is home to the largest ballroom in the state of Indiana.
